Who We Are
Operating two mobile aid kitchens, Iskra Dobra specializes in delivering and preparing food in areas near the front. Each kitchen is capable of producing 5,000 meals a day, serving the daily needs of tens of thousands of refugees.
Founded by a local chef and staffed by volunteers, Iskra Dobra is constantly in need of funds. It operates on restaurant profits and occasional donations from other Ukrainians. This is the first attempt to solicit international help.
Funds raised will go toward the procurement of ingredients, equipment, and fuel to keep operations running. Each meal costs roughly $1.00 to make. Every dollar donated equals one meal for a refugee.
As the front moves west, the number of refugees is rising while government aid is drying up. The war is dragging into 2026 with no end in sight. Whatever you can give—no matter how small—helps make life more bearable for people who have suddenly found themselves homeless and jobless.
